Food, to me, is a piece of edible artwork. Just as someone can stare at a Monet or listen to classical music for hours, there is something peaceful and beautiful about food. Very little comes close to the feeling I get when seeing someone enjoy a dish that I’ve made, and that is where my food blog comes in!
I love traveling and trying new things. Through learning about recipes from different cultures, taking cooking classes, and creating my own recipes, I am broadening my cooking horizons. I grew up learning to cook a multitude of southern dishes and was also taught the importance of using fresh ingredients. My recipes are mostly inspired by my family, but I am also creating new ones that highlight the simplicity of fresh ingredients that are creatively and elegantly combined.
